W. Bro. Eric Wooding

“W. Bro. Eric Wooding has been an honorary member of Stuart Lodge since before I became Secretary and had moved to North Wales long before I joined the Lodge (January 2008), so I had until that Tuesday only known W. Bro. Eric by name and email, having never met him. So, it was a real pleasure on the Monday night to meet both W. Bro. Eric and the Secretary of Corbet Lodge No. 1583 located in Tywyn, W. Bro. Dean Cook, for a drink and a meal and a most convivial evening!

On the Tuesday night the night of the meeting, having asked and received the permission of both the Worshipful Master W. Bro. Charles Benedetto, and VW. Bro. Wynford Owen Davies PGSwdB and DPGM of the Province of North Wales who was in attendance, I was afforded the pleasure of presenting the 50-year pin and certificate to W. Bro. Eric, after he was presented with a 50-year certificate by the DPGM of North Wales!

It was I suspect the first time a Brother has been presented with two 50-year certificates from two different Provinces on the same night! A wonderful night was had by all, and a night neither I nor W. Bro. Eric will forget.”
